Pull the refrigerator out from the wall and clean the lint from the back of the unit, empty and clean the drain pan and check the water supply line for cracks. This allows the fridge to work more efficiently and will create easier access to sweep and mop under the fridge.
Turn off the gas, electrical breaker and water supply to your water heater and drain the sediment out of your tank. Doing this annually, you can assist in prolonging the life of your water heater. Close the drain valve and fill the tank back up prior to turning the breaker or gas back on.
